Produced and shot news documentaries. Covered international and national projects for the Times. Past enterprise stories include ISIS trying to recruit an American Sunday school teacher, the organized movement to film the police after the death of Freddie Gray, and violent jihadist recruitment in Malaysia.

Other projects include two Times Documentaries, one on the 2014 Indian national elections and the massacre of Muslims in Gujarat state when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was chief minister, and a second documentary on sexual harassment in public spaces following the brutal Delhi gang rape in 2012.

Part of the team that covered the General Motors fatal flaws stories that led to 60 million cars being recalled. Focused on covering victims and family members who were kept in the dark. Received the Scripps Howard Foundation public service award for the story.

She also planned and coordinated social media strategies for all her enterprise stories.

Produced, shot and edited breaking news, features and documentaries. Covered India extensively for The New York Times and GlobalPost.Worked on a variety of stories ranging from the 2011 Delhi bomb blasts to a $2 billion-health fund scandal in northern India. Received a reporting fellowship from the South Asian Journalists Association (SAJA) to produce and shoot “India: Armed and Dangerous,” on the country’s illegal small arms trade. Received an award from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers (SABEW) for the story. Shot and produced about a dozen stories for GlobalPost’s “On Location” video series, which received a Peabody Award in 2011.

Produced and shot breaking news for Agence France-Presse.

Field produced and shot two documentaries, one on genetically modified cotton in India and another on joginis, ritual sex slavery of lower caste girls in Andhra Pradesh.

Other clients included the Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press, UNICEF, UNDP and the European Commission.
